As we know plastic is everlasting and even when you can't see it, it's still damaging to the environment. 

When plastic gets older it breaks down into microplastics which infect our water supply, causing health issues and killing sea life.

The sponge you use to wash your dishes or your body is made entirely from plastic which means the average person creates 27 million microplastics each year. 

There are better alternatives than using plastic. A bamboo dish brush and a flannel work fine.

I need your help to ban the sponge, a terrible invention, by signing my petition.
