Ban people recording on their phones at gigs

The Issue

People want to go to a gig and WATCH the artist through their eyes, not through someone else's phone. It takes away from the performance. You're never going to watch those videos back after the gig. You'll take one photo and remember that for a lifetime, rather than hundreds of videos.

If things change, people will be more involved in the gig and not checking their notifications or trying to speak to people who aren't at the gig over a video call. If things stay the same, people won't be able to see the artist on stage due to the amount of phones in the air.

Now is the time to act. Otherwise, we risk EVERYONE not watching the gig through their own eyes and taking away from the atmosphere. You can't use your phone in a cinema, so you shouldn't be able to at a gig. Police it in the same way.
