We want the United Nations to consider sexual abuse a human health crisis and to commission a panel of law enforcement, therapists, experts, survivors and perpetrators to come up with a plan to end sexual abuse of children within 100 years. 1 in 6 boys and 1 in 4 girls experience childhood sexual trauma but only 2% goes reported, the current system is not working. A new system of reporting needs to be established so that childhood sexual abuse victims can get the help they need.
