Petition calling for the Christchurch City Council Chief Executive to place a temporary ban on Freedom Camping in the North Beach foreshore car park until the bylaw can be changed and a permanent ban can be enforced.

The North Beach Car Park allows access to the North New Brighton Community Hall users, the North Wai Board Riders Club. North Beach Surf Life Saving Club members. North Beach Coffee Shed customers. Accessible Beach Mat users, primary and secondary school groups, general beach users, and visitors. There is increasing stress on access to these facilities due to the number of Freedom Campers staying there.
