University students have been dealt the short hand during two semesters of lockdown (2020 & 2021). However the University fee has not been lowered. Students are not able to use the facilities that they are paying for, and online learning is not the same as attending proper classes. Although we recognise the response to a Covid-19 lockdown is difficult, AUT needs to recognise the sacrifice of the class of 2020 & 2021. This petition is asking for a partial refund of the University fees that are allocated to campus facilities and learning.
