Remove the Karaka trees from Meola Reef dog park to stop dogs from getting poisoned!

At Meola dog park there are Karaka trees present. The fruits on these trees are highly toxic to dogs, which can lead to paralysis, seizures and a painful & unnecessary death.

Auckland Council is currently trying to come to a solution but we believe that removal of the trees is the only real resolution to this problem.

If we do not get these dangerous trees removed more dogs can be negatively affected.

A 5 month old puppy is currently trying to recover from the ingestion of one of these berries, he was lucky enough to get to the vet quickly but many other dogs have not been as fortunate as him.
