Dear LRT Buses,

We are writing to express our concern about the recent changes to your bus routes. We understand that you may have had good intentions in making these changes, but we believe they are hugely detrimental to bus users in certain areas of the city.

The new routes have caused massive inconvenience for many passengers. People are having to take multiple buses, with waiting times for follow on travel of sometimes 30 minutes or walk long distances just to get where they need to go. 

This is particularly difficult for those with disabilities or limited mobility and potentially dangerous to those who travel later into the night.

Changes such as ending bus routes earlier  have resulted in entire parts of the city being cut off.  Trams do not service these areas and are not a suitable alternative. 

Removal of night bus services has left those living in areas that are not on a main route to walk at least 20 minutes in the dark and alone or arrange alternative transport.

We urge you to reconsider these route changes and work with passengers and community members to find a solution that works for everyone. Thank you for your attention on this matter.
