Anyone who thinks that the congressmen should take a pay cut equal to what they are asking the rest of us to take are being asked to sign this petition. Congress is cutting our policemen,  firemen's and teacher's pay. Along with taking away for the most vulnerable Americans some of the ways they manage to live.

I  have been waiting for them to say we will rescind our insurance, since we voted to rescind yours, speaking of the ordinary American. Only one of the new congressmen refused the insurance.  Congress people  only pay a small part in the insurance premium and the government pays the rest.  They will have this for the rest of their lives.  We don't have that option. The congressmen haven't offered any concessions to their own pay or perks. Why are they so good at asking us to sacrifice when they get rich off of our scarifice? They used to have to vote on a pay raise, now it is automatic. Are they willing to forego that raise this year as well as take a pay cut, like we are being forced to do?

Please sign this petition asking the congressmen to cut their pay by at least 10 percent and to pay for their perks like hair cuts, gyms and whatever else they are receiving free that we have to pay for.

Also ask why they aren't asking the rich to sacrifice by paying some taxes on the first $250 thousand of their millions. Also ask congress to cut some of their tax deductions, along with the ones rich people take,  making it so they don't pay any federal taxes.
