Booloumba Creek is an incredibly beautiful place, right? I’m sure anyone who has ever been there (or even seen pictures) would agree. However, the unfortunate destruction that tourists have contributed to the growing sadness that has become of Booloumba - and the water that is constantly being polluted - is getting worse, and will only continue getting worse unless there is at least a bridge crossing over the sludge that is now only welcome to those in 4 wheel drives (because of how awful the entrance of the road has become).
Booloumba has always been a tourist attraction, but the more tourists... the worse the water gets. Of course less tourists would mean healthier water and ultimately a healthier environment, and that would be absolutely wonderful. Unfortunately though, that’s not going to happen, due to the place being so peaceful and simply charming, so what other option is there? A bridge.
