Today I was yelled at during my shift at work because I’m “incapable of customer service” apparently. I’m sure anyone who has worked in a customer service job can relate. As someone who is only 17, just graduated high school, and working 2 different customer service jobs for minimum wage, I personally DO NOT feel like I am responsible for any problems with or about the company I work at. SO WHY ARE YOU TAKING IT OUT ON ME? This is the problem I am trying to solve. 

I could name 10 times in 10 seconds when a customer has been rude to me and all I’ve been able to say is sorry or we will try to do better. NO. I want justice. I want to be able to FIGHT BACK. I WANT TO LOOK AT THEM AND EXPLAIN HOW THIS IS NOT. MY. FAULT. I did not create this company, I am not the CEO, I’m not even a manager. So WHY can’t I stick up for myself when a customer is treating me like the scum of the earth. We’re all humans here. Sorry you’re miserable with your life, but why are you taking it out on me? There is no reason why a 40+ year old should be screaming at 16-25 year olds about things they can not control.
