Animal Testing at Yale University

Animal Testing at Yale University
The Issue
Thousands of animals suffer and die inside Yale University laboratories, in painful and unnecessary animal tests. Animals have holes cut into their skulls, are forced to consume dangerous drugs including cocaine, or are subjected to electrical shocks, to mention only a few of the countless atrocities in these laboratories. Yale University's animal-research laboratories were recently cited by federal inspectors for several instances of animal mistreatment and abuse of research animals, including electrical burns on two baboons and several dead hamsters from an infectious disease trial. Yale was also written up for safety and sanitation violations in 2008 and 2009.
Please ask the university to replace animal testing with readily available non-animal alternatives !
