We have just been informed that the class of 2021 may have their graduation moved online despite the fact it is not until October, where the situation may be a lot better or without the option of postponing until a later date; an option that was given to the class of 2020.

We have been working extremely hard for the past three years all leading up to Graduation, a day most of us have been dreaming of since the day we got our acceptance letter, and it is incredibly disrespectful that we are seeing festivals being planned for this summer, however our graduation planned for October isn’t even being postponed. We would at least like the chance to postpone our graduation for a little while if it isn’t possible to go ahead in October. 

We deserve the right to celebrate our achievements and to say a final farewell to a time in our lives that has shaped us into who we are today.
