According to the Office of National Statistics the rate for new infections is slowing down and according to Northumbria University themselves, the number of students testing positive for covid has decreased tenfold. In light of this information this petition is to request Northumbria University to fully reopen their campus with proper (1 metre plus) social distancing and face coverings to allow students to learn in the best environment possible and so that we know where the money is going.

Northumbria University is expecting all students to learn online without taking into account that some students can't afford adequate equipment to complete their learning the the level they aim. Along with this, the University is getting away with providing a sub-par learning experience and expecting all students to pay the same amount. This has to change. Your signature can help do this.
