1256 speeding ticket issued in one day
The issue
I want to reach out to all the 1256 or 20000 people who have received speeding ticket in one day 07 July 2021.
I believe:
No signs were displayed when speed limit was reduce from 60km/h to 40km/h on Barry drive/Marcus Clarke Street.
No public information notice was given for changing the speed limit.
I received a call from hospital to drive a friend to home at 12:00 pm 01 July, 2021, who has gone through a surgery and was given general anaesthetic, unable to drive home.
I rushed from work to pick my friend from hospital, without breaking the speed limit. my speed limit was 60km/h, however, the ACT govt has reduced the speed to 40km/h. Had the speed limit was normal as 60km/h, i wouldn't have received the ticket.
