Blanche Ely High School has a long legacy of pride and connection within the community that has declined over the last several years. Where there was once a bridge of mutual love, unity, and support, there now exists deliberate actions by the school leader to destroy everything that Blanche Ely has stood for since it opened in 1952.

The damaging, unprofessional behavior of current leadership has sowed discord and has led to an influx of students and staff leaving the school. These actions have also negatively impacted the school's academic, extracurricular, and athletic status.  There has been a continuous agenda to drive a wedge between the school and the community. It is time for us to ban together to let the Broward County School Board and Superintendent Runcie know that current school leadership has failed to continue the historical legacy and foundation established by Mrs. Ely. 

It is detrimental that we move to a new leadership team at Blanche Ely High School in order to reclaim the longstanding tradition of excellence that we associate with our school. This is not a subtle request, but a demand for new leadership at Blanche Ely High School. We want change now!
