No Detriment Policy for CSA

No Detriment Policy for CSA

The Issue

As the next generation of designers who will be going out into the creative industries post graduating this year, we need to be awarded with grades we have worked immensely hard for, not just during this pandemic but before this all began.

We would like a no detriment policy added to the assessment process to act as a “safety net” to ensure students obtain at least their average grade so far in the year, or with a better grade depending on results in summer exams or assignments, so long as they secure at least 40 per cent. We have all been affected by this lockdown with lack of resources, printing companies not being available, less face to face contact with tutors and the overall basic university experience we needed the most during these final months of being at university.

We would like to request this, for our future.
