Mr. Josh Sollak has been a pivotal part of the John D Parker Public School community since September 2025. Over the past few years, we have experienced significant turnover within our administrative team, having had six different administrators from 2022 to 2025. Finding stability and consistent leadership has been challenging for our school community until Mr. Sollak joined us.

More than a Vice Principal, Mr. Sollak is a pillar of support, dedication, and consistency for our students, staff, and families. He has been instrumental in not only maintaining but enhancing the quality of our educational standards. His commitment to our school is evident in the trust he has built with students and parents alike, attending school events, supporting initiatives, and being readily available whenever the community needs him.

Unfortunately, due to a decision by the school board, Mr. Sollak is now being moved from his position. This transfer does not take into account the tangible positive impact he has had on our community, nor does it prioritize the needs of our students to have a stable and dependable leadership figure present in their daily academic lives.

We urge the school board to reconsider this decision, not only for the benefit of John D Parker Public School but for the overall well-being of our students who thrive under stable and familiar leadership. Our Vice Principal has shown unwavering commitment to our school, and removing him now would disrupt the progress we have made together as a community.
