Our healthcare providers are experienced professionals. Nevertheless, the relentless focus on the opioid crisis and stringent constraints on drug prescriptions advocate a climate of menace rather than support. This is worrying; the medical practitioners need to operate in a setting that supports their profession, not one constantly poses threats.

It is time we stand up to this grave issue. We implore the government agencies to reevaluate their overbearing strategies and instead provide an environment that supports our medical professionals rather than pressuring them towards early retirement. As a vital element in managing chronic pain and addiction, our doctors and nurse practitioners are indispensable in our collective battle against these debilitating realities.

Government agencies control providers, medications, controlled substance quotas to pharmaceutical companies. 

Patients are responsible in addition sign a contractual agreement. Patients overtaking prescription medications are risking potential overdose. This is truly sad. Unfortunately it's by their own hand, introducing medications not prescribed or not following label instruction. This is no fault of their Practitioner. Finding a provider is impossible. Pain Management Physicians go into early retirement & many are no longer accepting patients due to task forces ie; NEPO!

Statistics~#1 killer=alcohol!! Alcohol is unlisted as a "CONTROLLED" substance aka Scheduled Drug. "Control" is defining word! Agencies govern patients Privacy, Quality of life & more importantly our providers!

Allowing agencies continuous access to necessary practitioners will not fair well!
