The Muslim community, a significant part of our diverse society, is often subjected to discrimination and baseless accusations. This unjust treatment undermines their dignity and contributes to a hostile environment. According to the FBI's 2019 Hate Crime Statistics report, anti-Muslim hate crimes constitute approximately 14% of all religiously-motivated hate crimes in the United States. This data clearly indicates an urgent need for action against such prejudice.

The stereotypes associating Muslims with terrorism are not only harmful but also grossly inaccurate. As per a study by the University of North Carolina, since 9/11, only 0.00009% of American Muslims have been involved in terrorist plots, demonstrating that these stereotypes are unfounded.
