It is truly a mystery why the Sony a7sIII, a7IV and FX3 support XAVC-HS (4K) (H.265 NVENC) recording in 24,30,50,60,100 and 120 fps - but NOT in 25 fps. Which is exactly what we here in the PAL region shoot in.

It would seem to me that this could easily be made available with a firmware update.

Please sign this petition so that we can make it known to Sony that this very simple, yet very useful feature needs to be added.

Working with this codec will increase quality over XAVC-S while decreasing the file-size. a win-win! And most of all; more hardware and GPU support resulting in faster decoding and smoother editing. Overall a much more future-proof codec to work with.
