A cry for freedom

A cry for freedom
The Issue
My Name is Jajuan Morrow. I’m Asking for Your Help.
My name is Jajuan Morrow. I’m a Chicago native currently living in Las Vegas, Nevada. I originally moved here hoping to save my marriage, but instead, I found myself trapped in a painful and unjust situation that has cost me everything. In 2024, I was falsely accused of crimes by my ex, resulting in a two-year probation sentence. Later that year, in October, I was physically attacked by my ex and even my own children. I was beaten, humiliated, and emotionally shattered. Just two months after the attack, I was shocked to discover there was a warrant out for my arrest—again, based on false allegations. In January 2025, I turned myself in, trusting the system would see the truth. I remained in custody until May 2025. Since then, I have filed for a protection order against my ex, which she has violated. Despite my efforts to seek help—from the police, my probation officer, and even legal counsel—no one has taken meaningful action to investigate or protect me.Because of these false accusations and failed interventions, I’ve lost everything: my home, my job, my car—my sense of safety and dignity. I am now trying to return to Chicago, where I have the support of family and close friends. I’ve submitted an application for interstate compact transfer through my probation officer but have yet to receive a response. This petition is my plea for a second chance. I’m trying to do what’s right: to put distance between myself and a toxic, dangerous situation and begin rebuilding my life. I want peace. I want healing. And I want to be surrounded by people who care.
I’m asking you—whoever is reading this—to take just five minutes out of your day to sign this petition. Your signature could help a man regain his footing, restore his faith, and maybe even save his life.
Thank you for your time, your compassion, and your support.
