A Collective Plea to Sam Jones: Help Us Find Wombat Mama & Baby!

A Plea to Sam Jones: Help us find the Wombat Mama and her Baby!
This is all that matters now.
So, with a heartfelt plea Sam, we ask that you reach out privately to Wombat Rescue either via Instagram, email or using the form below:
https://wombatrescue.com.au/report-a-wombat/
It is imperative to the survival of the wombat and her at-foot joey, to disclose the location of where you found them. If you don't make this one simple act of kindness, they will undoubtedly die.
Wildlife carers are ready to act, equipped with the knowledge and experience to assist. But they can’t do so if they don’t know where to start looking.
It is now up to you Sam, because you have the choice to save them.
The Context
Recently, Australia witnessed a video in which US Influencer Sam Jones (Strable) removed a baby wombat from their mother on the side of a road - believed to be somewhere in the Adaminaby area of NSW. According to Jones, the wombats were safely reunited. Although no evidence was shown.
Not only were the animals naturally distressed, but disturbingly the video footage also displayed both wombats with signs of Sarcoptic mange. Sarcoptic mange is a highly contagious disease that leads to a slow, painful death for wombats due to extreme itching, hair loss, secondary skin infections from scratching, emaciation, blindness, and eventually death.
But if caught in time, it can be successfully treated!
Despite the emotionally exhausting and all-consuming work wildlife rescue groups undertake, Yolandi Vermaak from Wombat Rescue (seen speaking out about this incident in the media) has strong hope that these two (of too many) suffering wombats, can be located and treated for mange. She has said they are equipped to intervene, but can only do so if they have the exact location of where the wombats were first discovered.
So, by reaching out to you, good humans of Australia and the world, I am hoping a collective and positive voice can persuade Sam Jones to provide the vital information needed to make this happen.
Please sign my petition!
And together, with emotional intelligence, we can change the world.
*Offensive comments will NOT help the wombats!
**I also ask if anyone recognises this area or road in the photo/video or has seen these particular wombats to please also reach out using the above link.
***I have included decision makers who I thought might have the ability to communicate with Sam Jones. But any advice welcome!
