Despite so many objections, construction for the Dakota Access Pipeline has begun – but rather than lowering our spirits, it’s inspired us to take even more action! People from Standing Rock and other allies have gathered to form a Spirit Camp, protesting this terrible project. The Oceti Sakowin Youth are organizing another relay race to raise awareness about the project, this time from North Dakota to Washington D.C.! And the Standing Rock youth are continuing to raise our voice against the pipeline. Today I published an op-ed on Mic.com, talking about why this pipeline is so bad for our earth and our people.
