New Character Models For BioShock Remastered/BioShock: The Collection

The Issue

BioShock: The Collection was revealed in 2016, which got fans of the acclaimed BioShock video game franchise (including BioShock, BioShock 2 and BioShock Infinite) excited. The Collection featured all three games with the first two being remastered with new graphics. A well-known detail about the first game is that only 3 characters have their own character models in the game (Andrew Ryan, Sander Cohen, and Frank Fontaine), the rest use recycled Splicer models with new colors (Splicers are the generic mutilated human enemies found throughout the game) instead of their own unique models. This was done in the original release because of budget restraints

When the Collection was announced, many hoped that some major characters would get their own character models, like Brigid Tenenbaum and Atlas, but this was not the case. They still used the same Splicer models. This was quite disappointing for many, as 2K Games has the resources to make this happen, yet did not.

What I'd like to accomplish is an update for The Collection, which would give major characters in the first game their own unique character models. They could base the facial features from the Audio Diary portraits used for the characters' Audio Diaries in the game. One character that most fans unanimously wanted to have an own model was Brigid Tenenbaum, so I'm putting her as a must-have. No additional animation would be required, just new models in the place of the old ones. I realize that it might be too much to ask to make character models for every single character in the game so I have divided characters into three categories, Major and Minor. Major being the ones that be demand and minor being the ones that would be cool additions but are not essential. The Major characters are alive, while the others are the dead.

Must-Have:

Major:

Minor:

Atlas and Yi Suchong could reuse their Burial at Sea models if necessary. I added Cindy Meltzer from BioShock 2, but she only needs to have blonde hair on her Little Sister character model. One might note that Peach Wilkins is not on this list, this is because he is behind a mask throughout the game.

The decision of this is in the hands of 2K Games, and I have plans to show them how many people want this and not let this go before we get an answer.

I got this idea by reading a talk page on the BioShock Wiki and my friend helped me set this up.

Thank you
