Long Island has been damaged greatly, yet it hasn't received as much media attention as other devastated places. Hopefully a visit from the President will help Long Island get the federal aid that it deserves. (This can also include parts of New York City, like the Rockaways, that are geographically a part of Long Island, even though they are technically in Queens.)
