Miguel Ángel Mancera is a prominent Mexican political figure who served as the Mayor of Mexico City from 2012 to 2018. An esteemed member of the Party of the Democratic Revolution, he holds a degree in law from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana and a doctorate in law from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Dedicated towards the improvement of public security and the welfare of the people, he significantly contributed to various improved implementation of public policies during his tenure. Notable among his efforts were the introduction of universal health care in Mexico City, the implementation of a new constitution and an emphasis on environmental sustainability.
