Eric Nelson is a dedicated public servant and experienced professional with a strong background in safety sciences and legislative work. He holds both a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Safety Sciences from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, as well as a high school diploma from Hempfield Area. Nelson has served as the Representative for District 57 in the Pennsylvania State House of Representatives, where he has worked on various legislative initiatives. Before his political career, he gained valuable experience as a partner at Steel City Safety Consulting and as a faculty member at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. His diverse career also includes serving as a Military Police officer in the US Marine Corps and owning a Bruster’s Old Fashioned Ice Cream franchise.
