Carlo Calenda

Carlo Calenda is an influential figure in Italian politics and economics. Born on April 9, 1973, in Rome, Calenda has held high-ranking roles in both the public and private sectors. In 2014, he was appointed Italy's Deputy Minister of Economic Development, later serving as Minister of Economic Development from 2016 to 2018. Prior to these appointments, Calenda served as Vice President of Confindustria and was a member of the Executive Board at ENI. He is also known for his tenure as Italy's Permanent Representative to the European Union.
