Brian Estes is the Sheriff of Lee County, North Carolina. He began his law enforcement career in 2002 with the Lee County Sheriff's Office, where he has held various roles including Patrol Deputy, Domestic Violence Investigator, Criminal Investigator, Narcotic Agent, Task Force Officer, and Homeland Security Officer. Before becoming Sheriff, he was serving as the Captain of Professional Standards
