Austin Maxwell is a member of the Murfreesboro City Council, elected in August 2022. Maxwell graduated from Bearden High School in Knoxville, TN, in 1984. He earned a degree in Business Management from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 1988 and an MBA from Middle Tennessee State University in 2007. Maxwell has spent over 31 years in the healthcare industry, holding positions such as physician sales, hospital sales, and leadership roles including District and Regional Manager, as well as National Director of Sales Training. Currently, he serves as a Regional Marketer covering Tennessee and the Mid-Atlantic area.
