Annalena Baerbock is a German political figure prominent for her role as a co-leader of the Alliance 90/The Greens -- a political party in Germany. Born on December 15, 1980, in Hanover, Germany, Baerbock studied political science and public law at the University of Hamburg before obtaining her Master’s in International Law from the London School of Economics. Prior to being elected as a party co-leader in 2018, she served as a spokesperson for climate policy and as a board member of the European Green Party. Known for her commitment to environmental issues, she was the Green Party's candidate for the chancellorship in the 2021 federal election.
