Andrew Barr

Andrew Barr is an Australian politician who has been serving as the 7th Chief Minister of the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) since 2014. A member of the Australian Labor Party, he held several portfolios, including Treasurer, Economic Development, and Housing, before becoming the Chief Minister. He is known as an advocate for progressive policies, playing crucial roles in areas like education reform, tax reform, and marriage equality. Barr also has the distinction of being the first openly gay leader of any state or territory in Australia.
