**Petition Against Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s Decision to Release 1,750 today and expected up to 20,000 Prisoners Early**

We, the undersigned, stand together to oppose Prime Minister Keir Starmer's decision to release up to 20,000 prisoners early, having served only 40% of their sentences. These offenders, originally claimed by Keir Starmer to have committed non-heinous crimes, include individuals convicted of violent offenses, drug-related crimes, and weapons charges. Once again, the UK public has been misled by the Prime Minister.

As seen, by the 1,750 prisoners released today. The prisoners in question are being released have not completed the compulsory education and training programs necessary for reintegration into society. They are being set free without the skills required to pursue meaningful employment, lacking certification for skilled trades or proof of completing such courses.

What we are witnessing now is the first wave of prisoners in England and Wales being released early, despite the fact that the proper infrastructure is not in place to support them. The probation system is already stretched to its limits, lacking sufficient officers to manage the influx of releases.

There are increasing concerns about the current state of prisons. A scathing report from a watchdog found high levels of violence, with inmates trapped in cycles of boredom, frustration, and poor behaviour. These conditions fuel the demand for drugs, violence, and self-harm – and now these prisoners are being rushed back into society without completing their sentences.

This is made even worse by the lack of social housing, as more released prisoners face the risk of homelessness despite the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, advocating for prisoners and illegal immigrants to be given priority over law-abiding UK citizens. Without stable housing, the likelihood of reoffending increases dramatically, as many may find themselves returning to a life of crime on the streets.

If Keir Starmer and his Labour Government truly wished to free up 5,500 prison beds quickly, they could have chosen to deport non-UK offenders back to their countries of origin or the places they first landed outside of their own country. There is currently, 12,000 foreign nationals are in our prisons, many of whom could be deported but are protected by the ECHR (European Convention on Human Rights).

By leaving the ECHR, the UK will have the power to deport foreign criminals more easily and free up prison space for UK nationals at the same time as implementing stricter immigration controls without interference from European courts.

It is simply terrifying how quickly one man and his government – Keir Starmer and the Labour Party – have destabilized the fabric of our society. We fear for the future of our country, as this path leads toward lawlessness. Although individuals in positions of power, such as the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, seem to misuse their privilege and authority.

Every law-abiding citizen in the UK must stand together and sign this petition against the early release of prisoners. We demand that all other options be thoroughly explored, and that proper measures are put in place before such decisions are implemented.

Let us make our voices heard, and hope that with a large enough response, Prime Minister Keir Starmer will reconsider his approach. The people of the UK deserve a leader who prioritizes the safety of its citizens and upholds justice.

Sign this petition now to stop the early release of prisoners and protect the safety of our communities.
