I work in disability support. I can no longer feel safe taking clients out in the community. I have had one of my clients attacked by youth thugs already and police did nothing even though he was cut and bleeding. It is out of control everywhere. Hooning, motorbikes ridden on the roads by youth, shoplifting, intimidation and violence is rife. I no longer take any of my clients on a bus as they are not safe. This is at a ridiculous level now. DO SOMETHING!

Family and friends of mine are still physically and psychologically traumatised from a senseless attack by youths two years ago. The constant increase in juvenile crime is sickening and we are afraid to go out. Innocent shoppers, workers and community members are at risk of being injured or killed, and it needs to stop.

I think it's due to things like the pool and other areas kids can congregate closing down. They often come from broken homes, so instead of having a safe place to go in-between school and home they loiter in public areas disrupting the peace. As well as more security there needs to be a place for these kids to go.
