We save lives every day, yet ARDMS drains us with fees, endless requirements, and zero transparency. Sonographers are overworked, underpaid, and getting injured—stop profiting off our backs and start supporting us.

The sonographer community desperately needs ARDMS to protect our interests interests at the federal and state level through increased advocacy efforts. After bear 20 years in this profession, myself and many others do not feel heard, valued or respected. Sonographers are the unsung heroes of the medical field but if the blatant abuse of many in this profession continues it is not worth the mental and physical burnout. Ultimately if there are no changes made there is no real reason to continue in this profession. We are strong in asking ARDMS to: Stop increasing our dues until full financial transparency is provided. 2. Full public accounting — Publish annual reports showing exactly where sonographer fees are spent. 3. Oversight & accountability — Create a member-led committee to review budgets and spending. 4. Direct reinvestment — Fund legislative efforts for workload regulation, workplace safety and fair pay. 5. Rebalance priorities — Executive pay should not grow while members’ needs are ignored.

I used to work for the Army at an R& D center in NJ, from 1989-1999 during at least 2 Government shutdowns…it is such a waste of time and money as they usually pay back employees retroactively during the shutdown. The only Government employees that should NOT get paid are those that make the laws and control the budget…Members of Congress do your jobs!

As the United States veteran and a child of two different races I am appalled at the president and his administration. My families history has created the tapestry that is America. We are a blended family like so many others in America and it is absolutely heartbreaking the abusive power solely so one race or group of people can succeed, that is not how it was raised and that is not the America I grew up in. I fully believe if Congress is going to stop the payment of other federal employees and they themselves should no longer receive a paycheck! The hypocrisy that is continuing to surround this Administration has got to stop now!

As a federal employee who is required to still come to work as essential personnel, knowing Congress has stopped all payroll for federal employees to include essential personnel until an agreement is reached, really drives the point that Congress shouldn’t be paid either as federal employees or representatives until a funding bill is accepted Los

I have been job searching for over a year only to be denied, ghosted, or even interviewed while no intention to hire was had. I am running out of money and will soon default on loans, won't be able to afford food, etc. I am tired, stressed, afraid, etc. I need meds, mental healthcare, and so much more and cannot afford any of it due to ghost jobs. I have 12 years of experience in the field I am looking for, and will not believe that I do not qualify for entry level positions. Change needs to happen.

I lost a job I loved, but more importantly 20 million people have lost access to lifesaving HIV treatment.
