library has akways been an important part of my life and my childrens life and now it is an imporant part of the parkinsons support group's life where we meet every month,
Born and raised in Quincy. QPL Was such a vital resource for me all throughout school-not only for the books. Teen programming, internet access, and even just being able to be in the air conditioning for hours. The library was safe place to be. I also learned skills volunteering as a teen. QPL is an essential part of the community, adults and children alike. No more cuts!!!
Public libraries are the cornerstone to any community. A wealth of information and opportunities to all who seek it. If the library budget is cut to provide relief for now, it will only cause compounded struggles later.
