I am disabled and am sole caregiver for a disabled child and an elderly and ailing parent. My rent has increased by over 30% in two years. Renters rights deserve to pass without concessions. My family is at risk of being priced out of living with dignity. We all deserve better!
We definitely need to get paid more because we are underpaid for the type of work we are expected to do and deal
With on a daily basis. We are at risk of fentanyl exposure, stabbings, shootings, and being attacked on the trains at any second. 29.00 an hour is simply not enough and isn’t talked about enough.
I have seen, first hand, how important this program has been for our grandchildren, the last of which is just finishing the program in June. They have learned so much more than in any conventional classroom about things like emotions, leadership, tactile learning and so much more. They also enjoyed higher teacher to student ratios. A really valuable learning program. We want other kids, esp kids from low income households, to have this exceptional learning experience. Please don’t leave our little beach town Bezos.
This program supports so much early learning for kids that otherwise might not get the opportunity for vital learning at an hugely important stage of life. Education is a vital investment on everyone's future.
Many teenagers, like myself, are politically educated and want a say in who rules our country. If the voting age is lowered, it means that younger voices would be heard, it would promote more voting, and possibly encourage more teens to educate themselves politically to prepare. Sixteen year olds should be allowed to vote and stand for what they believe in.
McLane Nature Trail has been part of our lives for over thirty years. The view of the hills as we walk toward the creek is very peaceful and beautiful, particularly if topped with low clouds in the fall. A cut on the east side of these hills would definitely spoil the experience for years to come. There are examples of clear cuts in other parts of the park.
Please consider incorporating the east side of these hills into the protected trail area.
Please save the forest that fringes mcclane. We used to have giant 2nd growth forest that was clearcut near by. Old growth is no longer in capital forest so we should honor any 2nd growth that is still left. It helps keep the forest healthy. Thank you
