Rec room has been one of pillars for me breaking out of my anti-social shell especially with Rec Room Karaoke they have helped me greatly and I've joined their staff team please rec room is more than a game its some peoples way of being social and expressing themselves and that goes away then who know how many people will fall back into those anti-social shells.
We are Silence and Nordica, two dedicated content creators, and today we’re speaking about something that genuinely matters to us—and to thousands of others.
The news about Ballistics has hit hard. This isn’t just about a game mode with 4,000 daily players. It’s about a community. It’s about friendships, memories, and the countless moments that brought people together—laughs, late nights, shared experiences. That’s what Ballistics represents.
We’re not asking for updates or changes. We’re simply asking to keep the game mode alive.
There are over 19,000 people still actively engaged in Ballistics communities—people creating content daily on TikTok, YouTube, and beyond. This mode is far from forgotten. It’s still living, still breathing, still meaningful.
So we have to ask—why remove something that clearly still matters, while other modes with less engagement remain?
We understand the suggestion to rebuild experiences in UEFN, but that’s not what this community wants. Ballistics, as it is, holds something unique that can’t just be recreated.
This isn’t just feedback—this is a movement.
This is a community standing together.
You may see numbers.
We see friends.
Please—don’t take that away.
Ballistic is a game mode where the community shines bright and is filled with the most fun competitive matches I’ve played. I’ve met incredible people along the way in Ballistic and taking it away would diminish a lot of the community we’ve all worked so hard to build. Instead of taking the mode down, fix the glitches and polish the mode entirely. It has a lot of potential but just isn’t getting the love it deserves! Please hear us all out here
Ballistic created, made and repaired friendships. It’s the main mode I play and I’ve had the best laughs and met the coolest people. Ballistic isn’t just a game mode with 4K players… those 4 k people are a community. Removing this mode is a huge mistake, guess we’ll al have to meet in valorant or arc raiders or ewwww overwatch?! Epic broke my heart today and they don’t even care.
With the changing of Steve's voice this really impacted something more personal to me, I've been playing the game for so long it's become something special and fun. It's even gotten my little brother interested and full of joy everything I used the steagull build. So this removal really disheartened not just me but my little brother who wanted to start playing because of it.
As a loyal DBD player since 2020 and father of two lovely girls, stevegull was what made my daughters crack up and decide they wanted to play as well, I cant express how much fun we have had playing with stevegull and how much we have laughed when we arent playing dbd just hanging out screaming like stevegull at home or in the streets and let me tell you it causes the same akwardness in real life as well :D please please bring it back I wouldnt want for this memory that we are creating for the rest of our lives to end now
The developers not only changed Steve's voice, but they also destroyed any possibility of nostalgia for the time I played with my friend, who is no longer with us.
I was incredibly excited to see RGG Studio's announcement of Yakuza Kiwami 3 last week. As a longtime fan of the Like a Dragon series, I've been greatly anticipating such a remake and was over the moon to finally receive confirmation of its existence. However, the decision to cast Teruyuki Kagawa as Goh Hamazaki overshadows any desire I may have to support this title. I cannot in good conscience play this game knowing that in doing so, I am endorsing this man and minimizing the experiences of his victims.
In a series whose DNA is so closely tied to the personhood and humanisation of workers in the adult entertainment and cabaret industries, a man who has made his name synonymous with the harassment of those workers should not be welcome. RGG Studio has built itself upon games that espouse values in direct opposition to Kagawa's actions.
I urge RGG Studio and Sega to live up to these values and recast both the voice and likeness of the character Goh Hamazaki in Yakuza Kiwami 3.
As a studio that has previously recast a likeness character in Judgment following its actor, Pierre Taki's, drug use indictment a mere three months before the game's western release, I trust that they will continue to uphold this standard and will tackle Kagawa's controversy with similar urgency.
Until such time, I cannot support the release of Yakuza Kiwami 3, and have cancelled my preorder of the game. I sincerely hope that RGG Studio and Sega listen to their fans in this matter.
The Like a Dragon series is deeply important to me. I hope it can remain so.
