It is baffling that this DNA hasn’t been tested yet. Who are these agencies trying to protect? What are they covering up?
Don’t let this DNA continue to disintegrate. This family deserves answers
As a Minnesota citizen, I remember the horror of this murder and am SHOCKED that the DNA avenues are yet unexplored. Please do the right thing for us all!!!
It is absolutely absurd that New York officials are refusing to allow testing when it could solve this poor girl's case and give her family some peace. It is disgusting that they are refusing to allow testing when it could lead to the capture of someone who brutally murdered a bright young woman - someone who absolutely could have gone on to hurt other people. It is shameful. It is all shameful and everyone taking part in refusing to help solve Kristin's case should be ashamed of themselves.
Kristin's family deserves justice. They deserve to know what happened to her. Please just do the right thing.
Came from Morbid Podcast. Kristin O'Connell's family and friends deserves closure and the only one entity preventing that is New York State Health Department. NYS needs to have some integrity and accountability for the justice of a victim of a violent crime, and all other victims of crime that they could also be withholding evidence testing on.
I just listened to this case on the Morbid podcast and I was shocked and appalled to learn that red tape bureaucracy is keep the DNA from being tested. Kristin O’Connell and everyone who knew and loved her deserve to have answers and the chance to seek justice. Everyday that goes by the DNA that could be tested degrades, this DNA must be sent now. The NY health commissioner needs to do better and do right by this family and by justice. No matter how long has passed, Kristin’s case and countless others like hers need to be and deserve to be solved.
