Why are we just having Musk and Trump the keys to the kingdom? We are so close to our democracy slipping away. We count on our democratic leaders to represent us and fight to preserve our democracy. This deal is not a deal at all? It is death by 1000 cuts. It is surrender.
I am a disabled man who relies on Social Security disability benefits to survive. Billionaires want to take this away from me. I expect my democratic leaders to keep their word and fight like hell to stop the dismantling of Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, the VA and all the other programs vulnerable Americans rely on.
Giving Trump even more power than he already has will just hasten the demise of these services and benefits (the word “entitlements” is inappropriate. These are benefits we have paid for.)

The only thing saving me is Medicaid and SNAP. I worked 45 years and contributed to SS for my retirement. I should not be scared that my hard earned money is going to be stolen. We need a Democratic Senator who listens to their constituents and it’s obviously not you Mr. Schumer.
