Toxic chemicals are a pressing concern globally due to their harmful effects on health and the environment. Recent studies have highlighted the prevalence of these substances in everyday products, raising awareness about the need for stricter regulations and safer alternatives. Petitions focusing on toxic chemicals aim to ban harmful ingredients in consumer goods, push for more transparent labeling, and hold companies accountable for their use of hazardous substances.
One petition calls for the elimination of toxic pesticides in agriculture to protect farmworkers and consumers from exposure. Another petition addresses the presence of harmful chemicals in beauty products, advocating for safer alternatives and stricter regulations. These petitions emphasize the importance of health and safety in the production and use of everyday items.
Join the movement to combat toxic chemicals by supporting these petitions and demanding change. Your involvement can help create a healthier and more sustainable future for all.
I have severe asthma. If the crematorium were approved it is highly likely that I would no longer be able to enjoy spending time in the yard outside my home, hiking in Poricy Park, or walking my dog. Asthma rates are directly related to air pollution. You can count on an increase in asthma-related issues in high risk individuals if this is approved. I strongly oppose!
I agree on the fact that Forever Chemicals should be highly regulated or if anything removed from food and water sources. People's kids are drinking and eating this stuff you as an individual are eating and drinking these Chemicals. And the fact that all this is coming out now is a big issue. The food industry does not have the right to keep this from consumers and should be put on trial for doing so. These cause serious effects to the human body. And they just brush it off the shoulders as if it were just another paycheck earned.
I'm a nurse, and I would so much rather see some "weeds" than hurt any animals, children, or other citizens of our communities. Please find natural ways to remove problematic plants if you must, but above all else please keep poisons out of our plants, animals, water supply, and lives. I recommend the documentaries "Dark Waters" and "Into The Weeds" that show how chemical treatments hurt humans, not to mention wildlife. Thank you!
Please stop spraying pesticides! I have an outdoor adventure camp for children. We explore the parks, open spaces and bluffs on the coast. Please Stop!! There has to be a better way other than polluting children with toxic pesticides. Thank you!
Glysophate in particular is a known carcinogen. Monsanto and now Bauer have been sued for millions of dollars to people who have been sick. It’s mind boggling that chemicals are sprayed that can injury insects, animals and humans. It’s time to do the right thing and stop spraying of any kind.
Please be the organization you advocated you were when you recruited Moms to be your salesforce. Moms sold and used your products thinking they were safe. It breaks my heart thinking I contributed to the ill health of so many people by selling your products.
Grew up in Canoga Park from 1962 to 1977. I hiked a lot in those hills, took many bike rides around Chatsworth Res. These women are truly courageous and should be an example to us all in standing up for what's right. I remember the thrill of listening to the F1 engine tests without realizing how toxic that site was. After watching this all I can say is "NASA, BOEING, DOE...do the right thing!" Every year more people get sick and the price to clean up just gets more expensive.
