Hello Petition Signers!

We submitted our petition: End Toxic Use on Public Lands San Mateo County...to the Board of Supervisors (BOS) on Tuesday and spoke at public comment this week.  -El Granada Advocates, Protect Our Watershed SMC, and Non-Toxic Neighborhoods

Please keep sharing our petition far and wide and add your name to the 'call for action' at NO POISON CALIFORNIA website.  Alarming timeline snapshot of stats: glyphosate use in our forests from NO POISON CALIFORNIA website.

THE TAKEAWAY

In 2000, a scientific paper declared glyphosate posed "no health risk to humans." Regulators leaned on it for years, and spraying continued in our national forests. In 2017, litigation discovery revealed the paper had actually been written by Monsanto's own employees — but regulators ignored this fact, and spraying only accelerated. In November 2025, the paper was finally retracted. And so has our protection from being poisoned.
