I care because as an individual who struggles financially as it is, this company truly has taken advantage of so many people. It is unfair and they need to be stopped. I called on the 5th day of my contract and was told by a supervisor it would be cancelled well they never cancelled it, so after dealing with getting sick and a death in the family I called again and was told they would cancel it again but I had to forfeit any money already paid.
We became "members" of Sapphire in 2017, and have never been able to use that membership to take an actual vacation, no matter how hard we try. They always tell us that we just need to learn how to use it. Of course, when that proves not to work, they then start trying to get us to upgrade. Why would we spend even more money for something that's completely worthless? They say they don't have a deedback program, and that the only way to escape their vile clutches is to either transfer it to someone else (I wouldn't wish this crap on my worst enemy)
or sell it (no one is going to buy it, given that seemingly thousands of people are already trying to do so). Sapphire is a complete scam.
Based on my experience, I strongly advise against engaging with Sapphire Timeshare or any of their representatives. Their primary concern appears to be profit, not customer well-being. In my opinion, their practices are highly questionable and lack transparency. I urge others to thoroughly research and exercise extreme caution before entering into any agreements with them.
Sapphire didn't answer an of my various emails, snail mail or phone calls. and also was taking money out of my bank accounts without any contact to me of any kind. They have taken over $5,000 from me in the past four months, and I have nothing to show that I am even getting anything. It is a shame. Please help us! We were never told they would be taking our money without any contact from us, which put us in debt because they took our money from our billing account and we could not pay our bills. This company is a SHAME!!
Swindled us on vacation. Thankfully on the flight home I read and found the rescission notice.
I’m not very susceptible to this kind of thing, and even this one made it seem believable. It’s a shame that this is allowed to happen day in and day out.
Thankfully I was able to get out before it was too late, but the City of Paradise and the Nevada Real Estate Commission should be ashamed to allow this to be happening. It doesn’t make a person want to come back, that’s for sure.
My husband and I were completely lied to and taken advantage of while on vacation with our family , they did so many things wrong because they knew we was in a hurry as we was flying home that evening and we had kids back at the hotel waiting , they refuse to let us cancel, we have neverrrr actually used their so called benefits that they claim to give , never booked a vacation or anything we tried to cancel and they just keep taking money from our bank account under different names , also there was a point where the guy who we dealt with in the office who was said he was suppose to record him explaining things to us and signing documents which he went veryyyy fast through and didn’t read one thing , and didn’t record any of it . We just want out this has been a huge cloud over our heads and no one should be forced to remain in something like this . They don’t do hold up to their end on promises why would anyone want to pay these scammers a penny ?
My wife and I were scammed at their Jockey Club in Las Vegas, NV by a woman that presented herself to have the same first name as my wife but provided no proof. They were very pushy and acted like they were friendly. The presenter looked rough like she'd been used as a show horse doing presentations every few hours. We were told we could cancel it within 3 days while many others have been able to cancel within 5-15 days.
Maintenance fees increased every year without notification prior. We were told that we would never be charged maintenance fees ever. We also got a pushy salesman trying to get us to increase our bonus points for $600 and when we declined he responded, "What, you can't afford it?" Very deceptive practices. My mother and niece used a location that I provided them from the book that was provided to us that has partner hotels. My mother said that the person at the desk bought the La Quinta Inn and never partnered with anyone. The hotel was very sketchy with another door leading to the back of the property. I was embarrassed and fearful that my mother and niece could've had something happen to them and was fortunate enough that they were able to get an actual hotel room elsewhere.
We've never used their service ourselves and, thankfully, finding this group, we never will. We are not paying them another dime.
They specifically tell you several times that THIS is not a timeshare. They do not share the name of the actual company until the time of the presentation. It’s only after you sign the contract that it’s plastered all over the contract that you shouldn’t make your decision based on what your assigned salesperson told you. I felt sick to my stomach on the drive home looking at all the reviews I couldn’t access while at the presentation.
We did a presentation and kept saying no, no, no. We already owned 2 other Timeshares in Wis Dells. They talked us into it by “buying” one of them from us. I think that was around 2006, I can’t remember the exact year right now. We’ve only been able to book at The Jockey Club once in that time of owning there and that was only after purchasing 29,000 additional points. We are very flexible when it comes time to travel. I search a year in advance and still nothing available! Ours is paid in full. We just got our maintenance fees in the mail. $700 every year, out the window!
We were in Vegas and got suckered in to a presentation. There was a lady yelling several times that this was a timeshare and the gentleman we were with assured us it was not a timeshare. We were promised a trip to Hawaii and that was the main reason we signed up because we thought that was how we could finally go. The other reason was my son in law is from Okaboji and they were on the list and we could never book them either. We were told we could travel anywhere anytime! The points were not explained either. They talked about us being able to go on several trips a year. Nope couldn’t do that! One because of never being available and if you would happen to get lucky to book, we would not have had enough points. Looking into groups about Sapphire, everyone was promised the trip and not one person has been able to go. We were not told about the cancellation period or the maintenance fees. I tried to book several trips and I couldn’t do one single trip. We got a call a few years later and I told them I was not interested because I’m not able to use it. That’s when they suckered me in again and told me we needed to upgrade and we would have priority over others. I didn’t want to upgrade but we did so we could actually use something we were paying money for. Still not able to book anywhere. Several years of give them thousands of dollars for a product/service that doesn’t exist.
