Confining hens to wire cages so small that they can’t even flap their wings is unacceptable and unethical—and customers know it. So do hundreds of leading food companies that have already publicly followed through on their cage-free promises. The time to go cage-free is now.
Cruelty to any living creature is unacceptable and an abandonment of any moral obligation and responsibility to whom ever can otherwise make a difference in this matter and change things for the better, meeting higher standards and making animal welfare a top priority. Kindness is paramount and thus said, I don’t eat meat, but for those involved in this that do… please be kind… living creatures are intelligent, feel pain, nurture their young and don’t deserve to be treated as if they’re inanimate objects of contempt. Do better.
