I am a Canadian who lives in Calgary Alberta. I was born in Montreal and after the Quebec Separation fiasco, I renounced my Quebec Citizenship that the Quebec Government created. At that time I sent a letter to them regaling them on their efforts to break up Canada and gave them back this document.
The UCP and Daniel Smith's efforts to take a non issue for the majority of Alberta's population and make an issue for the loud minority is bad politics. They need to concentrate on our economy, housing and standing united with the other Provinces and Territories in defense against Trump.

My dad and two of his brothers who were in the military for ww2 have steadfastly said that the wrong side won the war. I have heard this too by other veterans.
What does this say about ourselves in this society. They defend our freedom with their lives and felt what they were fighting for was a falisy. I don't know the solution but it seems stupid to support a system that offers no real change. It's still the old feudal system and will never change until we change it and the first one step is forget about the bullshit presented to us and really think for our selves.
