I remember, even before I was on the internet, I played LBP. I used to play LBP every single day, and it was really fun for me. Looking back. I see these memories as a time I'd wish I can go back to. After the server shutdown, that is impossible. If Sony were to release these levels, private servers such as LittleBigRefresh and others would be able to preserve these levels. Even without the archive being published, if LBP were to be relisted, and the servers possibly going back online, so much of what made your legacy won't be wasted.
I more played LPB2 then 3 but I grew up on that game, I met so many friends and it raised me as a child and gave me so much creativity. I also had good times with me and my brother constantly messing around on this game and seeing what the community would build on it. I still think about it everyone once in a while I wish I could play it again because I still would even now. And I wish the community levels were still up for other kids and my myself as an adult to enjoy and play and see the creativity possible.
Lbp3 is my childhood game, and forever will be. My ps3 broke when I was young so I thought I would never got to play it again until my 13th birthday, I got the game for my ps4. I had fun like I used too, finishing the game, teaching my friends new things, getting cosmetics, and finding all the old community games I used to play when i was younger. I didn't know the shut down even happened when it did. I thought my psn was just being buggy. It took me a year to find out that EVERYTHING was shut down. It's just wrong. That game is my childhood, and plenty of others childhood as well. I want to at lease be able to see the communities work where it belongs and not in a dumpster to rot and be forgotten, because lbp will never be forgotten.
✌
Little Big Planet 1 and 2 were the last games my family and I played together where everyone got along, it's so unfortunate to have lost it the way we did.
