I started with Melanoma and a Mohs procedure in 2009; since then I have experienced the complete variety. My last procedure was painful and I am riddled with scars from procedures. This last procedure became infected and kept me from my water aerobic activity for a month, which I normally workout every day. I'm told I need a Mohs procedure on my leg where it becae infected. I am glad to have found an alternative that won’t require surgery, stitches in my forehead and another scar.
It is ridiculous that Medicare and insurance would even consider taking coverage of this FDA cleared option off the table and remove a viable option for people like me who already have 15+ scars on my body from skin cancer. Sign the petition and say no to removing this option from coverage.
