I visited the sanctuary in January with family from Australia. It was ultra clean and the foxes obviously well cared for, with activities in the large pen.
Like it or not, foxes are a vital part of the ecosystem and to close this rehabilitation centre because of one person complaining would be a travesty.
I feed two foxes who visit my garden everyday. I have been doing this for about 5 years. The foxes are mother and daughter. Lucy and Georgie. They are such wonderful animals and I didn’t even know about this sanctuary until I saw the news article. It will be very sad to see it go. They are building everywhere in my area (Warsash) causing foxes and other animals to loose their homes and safety and this sanctuary is a safe place for the foxes. If it does stay open, I will plan to visit it if it is open to the public. I love foxes and also support another fox sanctuary in America called save a fox. The neighbour who complained is an inconsiderate person who obviously doesn’t like wildlife. I hope to hear good news in the future
I feed the foxes in my local area, they don't hurt any pets as Ive seen them eating with the local cat happily plz dont shut down this safe haven for foxes they deserve to be treated like all wildlife, and they even do us a massive favour they help keep the rat population down
I fully support the request to keep this sanctuary open or at least give the sanctuary to relocate somewhere else. Foxes are given a bad name and my wife adores and feeds foxes and they need help desperately. Please let the sanctuary stay or move it to a better location . Perhaps money can be raised to help?
