Shame on everyone who is allowing this to happen. This shelter needs a complete overhaul. As someone who has a dog and knows how loving and intelligent these animals (and others) are, this really hurts to see. It’s time for a change. Everyone involved in this abuse needs to be held accountable.
No animals should be treated like this. As an animal person I treat animals like they’re my family. I have 3 big dogs and a small dog and they are the sweetest souls and they are so much comfort. Hope people who do this to animals they have a special place in hell for them.
First, I am a huge animal lover! My current full blooded Belgian Malinous is an adopted rescue and my last dog full blooded German Shepherd was a rescue. I love them both dearly! I so admire and respect what you are doing to get the word out to protect our precious, helpless animals, who do not have a voice. We are their voice. I emailed the 2 people I was able to email on the list. Can you add Marjorie Taylor Green to the list to contact possibly? Thank you so much for your work for the love of our beloved creatures of God! I am unable to support financially at this time but hope to in the near future. Thank you again!
People that do things like this to one of God's greatest creations needs to be dealt with in ways I can't explain. Dogs are God's wingless angels and they should be treated as such. I don't know what I would do if I didn't have my two girls (dogs). I'm here today able to sign this petition cause of my little dog. During a hard time she never judged me and loved me unconditionally and helped me get out of a pretty dark place. These rescues could rescue a lot of us who need rescued ourselves. So when seeing a video like this it kills me cause these wingless angels only want someone they can love unconditionally! These people need to be held accountable for their actions and be made an example of and face maximum sentences. Dog spelled backwards is God!
I’ve grown up living in a house with dogs and I would NEVER want my dogs to be mistreated while being “cared for”. Dogs should not be abused, they should be in loving homes.
My immediate reaction was so visceral that I felt my heart pounding all the way to my toes. I felt my body shutting down but speeding up at the same time. My husband thought I was in the grip of a stroke! Please, at the very least, remove these individuals from the reach of any animals. I know empathy burnout. I work with animals. This is an undeniable display of cruelty. There's zero compassion and the potential for violence is completely apparent. You have an obligation to address this situation . This cannot continue.
I have two dogs from Clayton—Chelsea, a Dogo Argentino, and Cricket, a mixed breed. When Chelsea first entered the facility, she weighed 74 pounds. By the time I pulled her three weeks later, she had dropped to 53 pounds. Thankfully, she’s now 13 years old and doing great.
Cricket, formerly known as Oregano, was just 6 months old when I rescued him. His first week out of that place was spent in the hospital battling kennel cough pneumonia (KCP)—a condition they never even attempted to treat. While at the facility, he also contracted parvovirus and barely survived.
I can only imagine the suffering my babies endured before they were safe. At the very least, that facility needs new staff. We must stand up for the animals still there and ensure they get the care they deserve. They need us to be their voice.
Shalom!! It is my belief that people who abuse animals or other people are psychologically damaged & are in need of help asap, before they go after another victim. Please stop this mistreatment of the ones who cannot speak, who are vulnerable & need our, your help. Thanks so very much!!
