END constitutional SLAVERY, Amend Article IV.
The Issue
Stop the human rights violations in the U.S. prison systems, that utilize involuntary servitude and or any forms of slavery of the convicted for profit. Make all forms of wage be based off of statutory guidelines regardless of conviction or imprisonment.
currently the Amendment XIII Section 2 of the US Constitution reads: "Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction."
By providing a petition backed proposal for adding an Amendment XXVIII superseding and or replacing Amendment XIII Section 1. to read :
Amendment XXVIII - Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.
